While the facilities at Southampton, do leave a lot to be desired, (No
shop, no restaurant, no bar, limited changing facilities and lockers and a very old
matting system, to name but a few!!) the helpful and great instructors make up for
it. Snowboarding is big here. Wednesday nights is the dedicated snowboarding
night. The slope itself is very natural, ski-ing amongst trees and both slopes have
interesting terrain. If only the local authority would spend some money on the
place. Very much an adult slope, that just gets down to the basics of the sport of
sliding down a hill with two planks of wood on your feet!! |
