***IMPORTANT NOTICE***

This ski area is unlike any you will have seen or visited before.  It is a 1 hours hard walk from the car park to the lift, in mountainous terrain and should not be attempted by un-fit individuals.  Please see their website for the correct precautions to be taken.

Andy Willcock - 01/03/2002 We have never skied in The Lake District, but intend to go either this season or next.   It really looks a good place to visit and is far nearer for most that Scotland or the Alps!!
