The Gloucester Ski Centre has had a lot of work done recently. They now
have a bar and shops selling clothes and equipment. They also have a new main slope
and nursery slope for snowboarders. The new main slope as 2 quarter pipes, a table
top and a stunt ramp at the end. |

I have just had my first ever snowboard lesson. I found everyone
really helpful, from ringing up and booking the lesson, right to the actual instructor
that we had. The instructor (Ant) was really good. He could easily answer all
the questions we threw at him. He showed us everything clearly and didn't laugh when
we fell over!! I am definitely going again before my holiday in December. |

We have been going to Gloucester Ski Centre for the past
year and found it to be a very friendly place. It has wide beginner
slopes, with various levels to start from, to build up your confidence!!
My only gripe would be the sprinklers. They are leaving dry patches,
and when your ski passes over a dry patch, its like someone put the brakes
on one of your ski's!! My wife has recently had a lesson with an
instructor called Roger who was brill!! He has given her the
confidence that she didn't know she had. She is now ski-ing from the
top of the beginners slope and getting better by the minute. He even
gave me a pointer that really helped. |

I am learning to ski with my son who has a school ski trip
coming up. The instructors are very good and after three hours we are
doing snowplough turns all the way down the main slope. The whole
experience has been first class. I would recommend it to anyone. |
