I decided to go ski-ing after being told that they only had
one snowboard longer than 158 and that was already out. Strange how
nobody was out boarding at the time!! Being taller, I decided to get a
pair of 180 or 190 ski's, but the reply I got was "Sorry Sir, the biggest we
have are 170's". I used to be a regular here, and they always used to
have 190 ski's. The worst is yet to come. I haven't skied for 3
years, so I was a bit shaky, but whilst coming down the slope, I fell over.
Not sure why, but when I got up I noticed that the binding on the left ski
had come off the ski!! After having my ski fixed and trying 3 other
pairs of boots (all broken in some way) I gave up. I then went to the
bar to calm my nerves, only to find the beer is off!! Don't order the
Stella!!! |
